We imagined Сarnival4David as a space of solidarity. It was held in more than 200 locations worldwide from Zuccotti Park NY, in Rojava, the ZAD in France, Korea, Austria, Berlin and London—Portobello Road—the place where David spent the last years of his life.

Here you can see the recordings of broadcasts from around the world. We are working on an international video and will post it soon.

a day of non-bullshit work for a farmworkers radio station

October 11, 2020

I am scheduled to start a project rewiring a farmworkers radio station in New Jersey on October 11th. Our little team would like to listen to whatever is streaming during that time that we are building the new desk, pulling the cables, installing new microphones and phone interfaces. It will be great to listen to stories and events about David while we do some actual meaningful work: supporting farmworkers to have a powerful voice in the media. Farmworkers have what David would have classified as a “shit” job, not a bullshit job. Farmwork is hard, the pay is low, the injuries are common, but it is meaningful because it puts food on the table for all of us. We hope the improvements at the radio station help on the path to a better workplace for the farmworkers, and a place for their issues in the public discourse. Here’s to a future of non-bullshit work that we can believe in… thank you David!!!
